Business Formation Add-On Services

Standalone services available with any order or on their own.

Updated: March 2026

Operating Agreement — From $199

Operating Agreement

From $199

Every LLC should have an operating agreement. Most banks require one before they will open a business account, and it serves as the foundational governance document for your company. We prepare every agreement using professionally drafted templates, carefully customized to your specific business.

The agreement covers:

  • Management structure (member-managed vs. manager-managed)
  • Profit and loss distribution among members
  • Voting rights and decision-making procedures
  • Member buyout provisions
  • Dissolution procedures
  • Capital contributions

Pricing Tiers

Pricing is based on the complexity of your LLC’s ownership and governance structure. A brief questionnaire during checkout determines which tier applies.

Simple — $199
Single-member LLC, or multi-member with equal profit splits and standard provisions. Straightforward governance with no special buyout or dissolution terms.

Standard — $399
Multi-member LLC (2–3 members) with custom profit-sharing arrangements or selected special provisions such as tailored buyout clauses or non-standard voting rights.

Complex — Custom Quote
Four or more members, highly customized profit distributions, detailed buyout or dissolution terms, or other non-standard provisions. We provide a written quote after reviewing your requirements.

Both single-member and multi-member versions are available. The finished document is delivered as an editable file you can update as your business evolves.

If you are ordering without a formation package, we will collect your LLC details during checkout, including your company name, state of formation, formation date, principal address, and business purpose.

Note: This document is prepared using professionally drafted templates. For complex ownership structures or significant assets, we recommend independent legal review.

EIN / Federal Tax ID — $59

EIN (Employer Identification Number)

$59

An EIN is a nine-digit number assigned by the IRS using Form SS-4. It is required to open a business bank account, hire employees, and file federal tax returns. There is no IRS fee for obtaining an EIN — our fee covers the preparation and filing on your behalf.

U.S. citizens and residents: Filed online with the IRS. Typically received the same business day.

Foreign nationals without an SSN or ITIN: Filed by fax or mail with the IRS. Processing typically takes 4–6 weeks.

  • SS-4 preparation
  • IRS filing
  • EIN confirmation letter delivered to your portal
  • Guidance on next steps (banking, state registrations, tax elections)

DBA / Trade Name Registration — $69

DBA / Trade Name Registration

$69

A DBA (Doing Business As), also called a trade name or fictitious name, allows your business to operate under a different public-facing name than its legal entity name. This is common when a company wants a shorter, more marketable name for customer-facing purposes.

In Wisconsin, there are two filing options:

  1. Wisconsin DFI (Department of Financial Institutions): $15 state fee, filed online, provides statewide notice. This option is included in our service price.
  2. County Register of Deeds: Approximately $30 (varies by county). Available if needed for credit or banking purposes. The county filing fee is separate from our service fee.

A DBA registration in Wisconsin is valid for 10 years from the date of filing.

BOI Filing (Beneficial Ownership Information) — $79

BOI Report Filing

$79

Beneficial Ownership Information reporting is a requirement from FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network) under the Corporate Transparency Act. As of March 2025, domestic U.S.-formed entities are exempt from this requirement. This service is available for foreign-formed entities that are registered to do business in Wisconsin or elsewhere in the United States.

There is no FinCEN filing fee. Our service includes identifying all beneficial owners (individuals with 25% or more ownership or who exercise substantial control), preparing the required information, and submitting the report to FinCEN on your behalf.

Important: Domestic U.S. companies (including Wisconsin LLCs and corporations) are currently exempt from BOI reporting under the March 2025 interim final rule. This service applies only to foreign-formed entities.
