Both single-member and multi-member versions are available. The finished document is delivered as an editable file you can update as your business evolves.
If you are ordering without a formation package, we will collect your LLC details during checkout, including your company name, state of formation, formation date, principal address, and business purpose.
An EIN is a nine-digit number assigned by the IRS using Form SS-4. It is required to open a business bank account, hire employees, and file federal tax returns. There is no IRS fee for obtaining an EIN — our fee covers the preparation and filing on your behalf.
U.S. citizens and residents: Filed online with the IRS. Typically received the same business day.
Foreign nationals without an SSN or ITIN: Filed by fax or mail with the IRS. Processing typically takes 4–6 weeks.
A DBA (Doing Business As), also called a trade name or fictitious name, allows your business to operate under a different public-facing name than its legal entity name. This is common when a company wants a shorter, more marketable name for customer-facing purposes.
In Wisconsin, there are two filing options:
A DBA registration in Wisconsin is valid for 10 years from the date of filing.
Beneficial Ownership Information reporting is a requirement from FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network) under the Corporate Transparency Act. As of March 2025, domestic U.S.-formed entities are exempt from this requirement. This service is available for foreign-formed entities that are registered to do business in Wisconsin or elsewhere in the United States.
