Every business entity registered in Wisconsin is required by law to maintain a registered agent. • UPS Store mailbox — provides a street-format address (not a PO Box number) for everyday business mail
• Coworking space — many offer business address and mail handling as an add-on service
• Executive suite or small office — a physical address you fully control
• Home address — works fine, but becomes part of the public record

A common setup: use a virtual mailbox or coworking address as your business mailing address (for contracts, business cards, and everyday correspondence) and use Anchor Filings as your registered agent (so our Madison office handles service of process and your home address stays completely off the public record). This gives you privacy and professionalism without needing your own office space.
