Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a P.O. box as my registered agent address?
No. Wisconsin requires a physical street address. P.O. boxes are not accepted. This is a hard rule from the DFI — there are no exceptions.

Add the Registered Agent Change item for $10; that is the state's fee passed through at cost, and we don't charge for the filing work. It's free if we're also filing your annual report. The change typically takes 1–3 business days to reflect in the DFI's database.
Do you serve as registered agent outside Wisconsin?
Currently Anchor Filings provides registered agent service in Wisconsin only. If your business is registered in multiple states, you'll need a separate registered agent in each state where you're registered to do business.
