At Anchor Filings, we believe that business owners deserve clear, honest, and reliable filing services. This page outlines our specific commitments to every client.

1. Accuracy Guarantee

We guarantee that all documents we prepare and file will accurately reflect the information you provide to us. If a filing is rejected or requires correction due to an error on our part, we will:

  • Correct the error promptly at no additional charge
  • Pay any additional government refiling fees caused by our mistake
  • Expedite the corrected filing

This guarantee does not apply to rejections caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client, name unavailability, or decisions made by the government agency.

2. Transparent Pricing

We commit to transparent, all-inclusive pricing:

  • No hidden fees. The price listed on our website is the price you pay. We clearly state which government fees are included.
  • No upsell pressure. We offer optional add-on services, but we will never pressure you into purchasing services you don't need.
  • Itemized breakdowns. Every order clearly shows what you are paying for, including the Anchor Filings service fee and any included government fees.
  • Price honoring. If you place an order at a listed price and we subsequently change our pricing, your order will be honored at the price in effect when you placed it.

3. Communication Commitment

We are committed to responsive, clear communication:

  • Response time: We aim to respond to all inquiries within one business day.
  • Order updates: You will receive email notifications at each stage of your order: received, in progress, filed, and complete.
  • Portal access: Your client portal provides real-time order status, document access, and direct messaging with our team 24/7.
  • Plain language: We explain filings, requirements, and processes in plain language, not legal jargon.
  • Proactive alerts: For Compliance Pro subscribers, we proactively alert you to upcoming deadlines and compliance requirements.

4. Filing Timeliness

We commit to submitting your filings promptly once we have all required information:

  • Business Formation: Submitted within 1–2 business days of receiving your completed questionnaire. Online LLC filings with the WI DFI are often processed the same day.
  • EIN Applications: Online applications submitted within 1 business day. Fax/mail applications submitted within 3 business days.
  • Annual Reports: Filed before the deadline when you provide required information at least 14 days in advance.
  • All Other Filings: Submitted within 3–5 business days of receiving complete information.

Timelines begin when we receive your complete questionnaire or required information. Incomplete submissions may cause delays. Government processing times after submission are outside our control.

5. Document Security

We guarantee the security of your information:

  • All data is encrypted in transit via TLS/HTTPS
  • Sensitive tax identification numbers (SSN, ITIN) are never stored after the relevant filing is submitted
  • Client portal access requires two-factor verification (email + phone)
  • Your documents are stored in private, non-public storage with row-level security ensuring only you (and authorized Anchor Filings staff) can access your data
  • We will never share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes

6. Registered Agent Reliability

For clients using our Registered Agent service ($59/yr), we guarantee:

  • Availability: A qualified registered agent available at our Madison, WI office during all normal business hours as required by Wisconsin law
  • Prompt forwarding: Documents received on your behalf are scanned and uploaded to your portal within one business day
  • Email notification: You will be notified immediately by email when we receive any legal or official document for your entity
  • Continuity: We will maintain registered agent service for the full annual period you have paid for, and provide at least 60 days' notice before any resignation

7. Satisfaction Commitment

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, we want to make it right:

  • We will review your case and respond within one business day
  • If we cannot resolve the issue to your satisfaction, we will issue a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy

8. Name Refile Guarantee

If the Wisconsin DFI rejects your chosen business name as unavailable, we will:

  • Notify you immediately with the reason for rejection
  • Work with you to select an alternative name
  • Refile your formation documents with the new name at no additional charge
  • Cover any additional state filing fees for the refiling

9. Compliance Pro Guarantees

For Compliance Pro subscribers ($179/yr), we additionally guarantee:

  • Annual report filing: We will prepare and file your Wisconsin annual report before the deadline each year, provided you confirm the required information at least 14 days in advance
  • Deadline monitoring: Proactive tracking and email alerts for all known compliance deadlines for your entity
  • Dedicated account manager: A consistent point of contact who knows your business
  • Priority support: Faster response times for all inquiries and requests
  • If we miss a deadline: If we fail to file your annual report on time due to our error (and you provided the required information on time), we will pay any late penalties and refile at no charge

10. What This Guarantee Does Not Cover

For clarity, our guarantees do not extend to:

  • Government agency decisions, processing times, or policy changes
  • Errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client
  • Business outcomes, profitability, or legal protection beyond what the law provides
  • Legal advice, tax advice, or professional opinions (we are not a law firm)
  • Third-party services (domain registrars, payment processors)
  • Changes in law, regulations, or government fee schedules after your order is placed
